CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

  • Loved the Theme of the convention this year.
  • One of the best, if not the best conventions we had. Because it was local to local and it was a great display of unity.
  • It was like a family reunion
  • It was a great start to get our yearly in person gatherings back up and going.
  • It was good to be able to see the convention streaming live since I could not attend due to health issues.
  • It was good to see that a lot of thought went into keeping everything covid free. (mics being wiped down, temperatures being taken, hand sanitizer and masks being available.)
  • Starting the convention out with prayer was great because it set the tone for the week.
  • In all of my years coming to the conference I never experienced an ordination the way it was during the conference. It was touching to see how our Bishop took the time to pray over his people.
  •  It was a perfect week, setting and atmosphere post Covid. I love the COGA
  • I am proud to be a part of such a great organization.
  • The conference was done with excellence, and I applaud all the hard work that went into it so I could come and simply enjoy myself.
  • This was my first convention and I wasn’t sure what to expect but I can honestly say I have never enjoyed myself more.
  • I’m proud of the SE-NW district this year. We really showed up in numbers and talent!
  • I loved the variety of MCs this year. It really shows all the talent in COGA

CONFERENCE SPEAKERS

  • I wish we could have heard the remainder of Bishop Reids Message
  • Each Speaker was phenomenal from young to the older.
  • I was glad to get to see the gifts that we had in our own speakers.
  • It was very apparent that each seminar speaker took time to study their topic and scripture.
  • Our young ministers really blew it out the park. I was so blessed by Daniel, Kivian, Matthew, and Samuel. The COGA has a bright future.

YOUTH

  • Our youth leadership (Leroy & Brenda) again did a fantastic job. They really show a passion for the youth.
  • The Youth rocked it this year!
  • It was good to have a YOUTH Night versus only a 45 minute window during the services.
  • It was the best AYPU services ever. Mr. Leroy took a lot of time with us.
  • It was great to see the young men active in the conference this year.
  • I was so excited to see our COGA dancers. They did a fantastic job in their area of ministry.

GALA

  • I loved being able to dress up for the Gala.
  • Loved the Gala.
  • It was refreshing to see that the Apostolic people dress up at the Gala and still look holy.
  • The awards at the Gala were a great touch.
  • I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures of the Gala. Everybody looked beautiful
  • I loved the Lacacy Awards. I learned so much about COGA.

CONFERENCE TEAM

  • The coordinators did a great job with the program.
  • I saw the hard work of all the volunteers and staff workers.
  • Samuel Reid and Marie West did a great job with the choir and praise team.
  • I noticed there were many times the sound, media and office staff did not leave their post even during the breaks in order to make sure the room and sound was ready for the next service.
  • The registration table volunteers always greeted you with a smile.
  • Teamwork was in full display all week.
  • From my view the coordinators not only worked well together but got along well.
  • It was amazing to see how quickly the conference team workers transformed an empty ballroom into a conference space.

HOTEL

  • The rooms were a little old but I loved the space of the rooms.
  • The breakfast at the hotel was great
  • The morning breakfast was good and hot, not the typical continental breakfast most hotels have.
  • Yes there may have been some minor glitches with sound and the older rooms but those issues paled in comparison with the great time we had at the convention.
  • The rooms were older but I loved the large space of my rooms. It gave me and my family space to move around without being on top of each other.
